Q: What do I wear?

A: We want you to look your best. Each session includes a free consultation where we will offer wardrobe and location recommendations based upon your look and style. We are here to make your portrait experience easy and stress free.

Q: How many outfits can I bring?

A: Most will bring 1-2 outfits. We will help you with how many looks you will need based upon your session type and wish list. It is always better to bring more than you need, we will help you pick the best one.

Q: What else do I bring?

A: This will depend upon what we plan for your session.  The simple answer is that you can bring anything--your four legged best friend, your car(s), your cow, your pig  or even your rowdy rag. The most important thing is to just be yourself.

Q: Can I get Christmas Cards?

A: YES! A Christmas card is a great way to share your family with others. CjDuncan Christmas cards are one of a kind and designed to fit you and your images. We are a full service  studio. That means we design and offer a wide range of other products as well.

Q: Do you have books and portraits?

A: Yes. We are a full service portrait studio and offer a variety of tangible product offerings. Most of our clients will get a wall portrait along with table-top gift prints and an album. Contact us to schedule a free consultation to see all that we can do. Schedule your session here.

Q: Can I get the digital files?

A: Yes. CjDuncan offers a variety of digital products. Select a single digital image or the entire session on a USB Flash drive. We also offer a mobile  APP of your  images so they are always a click and swipe away.

Q: When do we need to do this?

A: It can never be too early to have your family session, but it can be too late. In West Texas, Late spring, summer and fall are ideal.  This way you avoid the WIND and most of all, you have all year to enjoy your images.

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: Believe me, we understand. Things change. One thing we can depend on is that we can't depend on the weather, luckily, we have an awesome studio location that allows us to photograph your session regardless of the atmospheric temperaments. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can do so at no charge with 48 hours advance notice

Q: Can I afford it?

A: The answer is Yes! Collections begin at $450 and we offer convenient payment plans. We accept all major credit cards as well.

Q: Do you have a studio?

A: Yes, CjDuncan Photography has two studio locations, our original studio and the new studio warehouse.  The classic studio also features a 1 acre portrait garden.

Q: Can we go on-location and to the studio(s)?

A: Yes. Many families want the classic looks of the CjDuncan Studio as well as a portrait that speaks to who you are. We have been in cotton fields, football fields and even an airfield.

Q: Can we go any where we want?

A: Yes. Your family ranch, a favorite coffee shop, the stadium or anywhere else you love to be. Travel fees may apply to locations more than 35 miles from the studio. LEARN MORE

Q: What does the session include?

A: A CjDuncan Portrait session includes: a planning consultation, The portrait session with master photographers Cris & Deanna Duncan, romancing of your images and an image preview.

Q: Are digital files or prints included with the session fee?

A: No. Print(s) and/or digital files and all products are priced and sold separately from the session fee. You can click here to view the full list of product offerings.

Q: Does the session fee go towards my package?

A: No. The session fee is separate from your package. We have collections that start at $450 as well as Al-a-carte options.

Q: Are the images edited?

A: Rest assured, your pictures will be beautiful. Cris knows how to photograph you in a way that will make you shine. Each image will be reviewed and romanced for the best color, contrast, presentation and/or black and white conversion by a CjDuncan artist. This preview image is what you will see at your portrait preview.

Q: Do you retouch(airbrush) the images.

A: Yes. Every image that your purchase as a portrait is fully finished by a CjDuncan artist. Our retouching process can remove blemishes, wrinkles, brighten eyes, whiten teeth, thin face/body, smooth skin and remove stray hairs or distracting objects. Any Portraits or Individual Digital files purchased will be delivered with this service. NOTE: If you select the USB Flash Drive option, those images will be preview images. Any image that is purchased in a print format will have the full CjDuncan finishing process.

Q:  Do you do composites or advanced Photoshop

A: Yes we can. Each session is different and every family has a different story. During your consultation we will determine the best course of action to make sure you have the pictures you want. At CjDuncan, we can do advanced composites(blending of images), advanced retouching(brace removal) as well as our Fine Art Mixed Media paintings. Art fees may apply
